Rates

I charge $120.00 for a standard 50-minute session for psychotherapy and career counseling services. (At this time, a session 50 minutes in length is all I’m offering.)

Out of Network

I do not accept insurance at this time. You may be able to utilize your out-of-network benefits for therapy services as I do offer superbills for your convenience.

I charge $150.00 for a 60-minute professional coaching appointment for burgeoning clinicians looking to market themselves and/or open a small private psychotherapy practice.

Accepted Payments

I accept payment via debit or credit card, including HSA/FSA card - all payable via your Client Portal. I also accept direct payments via Zelle. (Note: You must be enrolled in Zelle prior to sending payment.) All payments are due at the time of your session.

Benefits of Private Pay

Paying for psychotherapy services out of pocket is not uncommon. There are many benefits to not using your insurance for your healthcare costs.

Benefits: No pressure to diagnosis quickly; your notes and client record are kept secure and private (yes, insurance companies can ask to see clients’ progress notes & other confidential client information because they’re the payor.). In addition, you can have as many sessions as needed without any prior authorization that typically stipulates the number of sessions a person can have that will be covered by insurance. Overall, when you pay privately for your psychotherapy services, you have more autonomy and consistency in care.
